Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime.

  • Summit Series hikes move at a steady training pace. While we never abandon anyone, we are not able to pause for extended periods. If a participant cannot maintain a safe group pace, they may be asked to turn around with a hike lead.

  • This series is not designed for first-time hikers. We recommend building experience through moderate trails before registering.

  • That’s okay. Growth takes time. However, repeated inability to meet pacing or preparedness expectations may require additional conditioning before joining future Summit Series hikes.

  • No. But it is structured. We hike with purpose.

  • No — but consistency builds strength. The more you commit, the more prepared you’ll feel for Timp.

  • There is no formal fitness test. However, you should be actively training, strength building, or hiking consistently between events.

  • Safety always comes first. Weather, avalanche risk, or unsafe pacing may result in route changes or cancellation.

🌟 Founder Note

Summit Series was created to push us beyond “comfortable.”

Mt. Timpanogos is not a beginner summit. And I believe in preparing with intention. You are capable of more than you think — but preparation is power.

I cannot wait to climb with you!
