📍 Ensign Peak (via Hell Canyon Trail)
🥾 Moderate | ~4–5 miles | Steady Elevation Gain

Join Girls Gone Hiking™ for a spring morning climb up Ensign Peak via the Hell Canyon route — a quieter, more challenging approach to one of Salt Lake’s most iconic overlooks.

This route offers steady elevation gain, rolling ridgeline views, and a rewarding summit perspective over the entire valley. We’ll move at a supportive group pace, take in the city skyline from above, and enjoy that crisp early-spring mountain air.

While shorter in mileage, this trail brings sustained uphill sections that will elevate heart rates and continue building endurance.

✨ What to Expect:

  • Steady climb with moderate elevation gain

  • Expansive city + Great Salt Lake views

  • 2–3 hours on trail

  • Supportive, encouraging group energy

Bring water, light layers, and snacks. Trail conditions may include loose rock or mud depending on recent weather.

Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start promptly at 9:00 AM. Registration and signed waiver are required prior to attending.
